media log 2: now is personal >:D

im happy to also have watched many pieces of media this month, so here are some reviews for random ahh films. i watched more romance than usual, and i binged a series :D. i also will include other things not under the spoiler section as i dont have a lot of thoughts about them.

as for the spoiler free section:

frankenstein (2025): i didnt pay as much attention as i would wanted to, as i spent most of the movie making jokes (specially quoting this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21eWRLOVhTk), but for the obvious things, the set designs and special effects were incredible (it’ll be mad if this doesnt win the oscar for best special effects. only worthy contestant i can think of might be the new wicked movie), mia goth was stunning, jacob elordi killed it, yeah no complaints aside from that. HOWEVER, it might be because, again, i didnt pay much attention to the film as i should’ve, but i really disliked the ending, as it changed the current emotional stage of the titular characters WAAYYY to quick, contradicting the literal scene that happened before 😭. i’ll rewatch it soon to make up my mind on this

quinografia (2025): casually my back pains started to get reeeaaallyyy bad when i was at the theatre watching the film, so i wasnt able to pay much attention either ;-;. i liked the usage of multiple interviews to show how quino was throughout his life but the direction of the film seemed kind of disoriented. still it was nice to see quino’s comics in the film :3.

also stream LUX (new album of rosalia), is a banger :3. anyways have a good day y’all :)
